Reviewers must not use AI tools to generate and/or summarize content under review. Uploading any portion of a manuscript to an AI tool is a breach of privacy rules.
Exemptions
Using GenAI to refine and articulate ideas or to help with grammar is permitted as a tool to help structure thoughts and improve clarity.
Enforcement
If AI use is not disclosed accurately and identified, the Biochemical Society reserves the right to withdraw the submission from consideration.
